Seminar: Fungal traits for multifunctional soil

Emilia Hannula will present her current work on soil fungal traits and give a perspective on how we should move beyond characterizing fungal communities based on their structure but to also consider the ecology and traits of the fungi. She will further give an outlook for soil management across ecosystems to optimize fungal functioning and consequently crucial soil functions such as carbon cycling and briefly discuss major factors affecting soil fungi.
