Workshop: Forest monitoring in EU

February 1-2 2023, SLU will be hosting a workshop on future forest monitoring in the EU, in anticipation of upcoming legislation on the subject. The workshop is for specially invited stakeholders and delegates from EU member states.

The main topic is EU-wide forest monitoring and what it will and should look like in the future. The workshop is a continuation of the one held in Kutná Hora, Czechia, in September of last year.

The title of the workshop is Workshop towards harmonized forest monitoring and reporting. It is organised as part of SLU's government assignment, the goal of which is to assist with expert knowledge and communication services associated with the legislative process.
