Alberto Maria Cattaneo
As a researcher I have 10 years of professional experience with expertise in molecular biology, including 2 year of functional characterization of insect and mammalian receptors in heterologous cell systems, 4 years of insect electrophysiology and 1 year of plant biotechnologies. I have authored or co-authored 9 peer-review scientific articles and 1 book. I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the division of Chemical Ecology of the Department of Plant Protection Biology in collaboration with the Centre of Integrative Genomics of the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and with the Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience of the University of Florida. My activity spread among molecular and cell biology, Drosophila genetics, and electrophysiology, like single sensillum recording (SSR) and Gas-chromatographic GC-SSR.
