I have been working as Education Coordinator at the Division of Rural Development since 2007 in close cooperation with all the directors of studies at the department of Urban and Rural Development. My main focus has been on the development of the agriculture- and master programs in rural development and the research education through SOLFUN. Today I am also working as dept. director of studies for the agriculture- and masters programs in rural development as well as Erasmus coordinator, which gives me great opportunities to meet with students for consultation, support and exchange of thoughts and experience.
Course leader for the courses: Agricultural science for rural development (LB0087) and Practice in rural entrepreneurship (LB0075)
After finishing the Agricultural program (plant and crop) at SLU I worked for a short period at the consultant division for plant pathology at SLU. My subject for my thesis was about Women in Swedish farming which lead me to LRF (Federation of Swedish farmers) where I worked with members and the network for women (LRF – Kvinnor). I was also working with a three year development project for LRF and SIDA stationed in Macedonia. In connection to the start of the division of rural development and their new educational programs I was invited to work at The division of rural development at SLU in 2017.
