Tobias Klöffel

Tobias is a Doctoral Student in soil physics in the Group of Agricultural Water Management. His work focusses on the link between climate, soil structure and water management in the context of agricultural soils, mainly within Sweden. Tobias investigates abiotic processes related to climate for their effects on soil structure such as freezing and thawing or wetting and drying cycles. Climate change will affect both the intensity and frequency of these cycles with potential consequences for the structure and hydraulic properties of agricultural soils.
