Meeting with the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation on Agenda 2030

The Swedish Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation has invited SLU to a meeting on Agenda 2030, with the aim of providing both the authorities and the Ministry with inspiration for future work and to catch up on issues that the department needs to work on to create the conditions to achieve the objectives of the Agenda by 2030.

In August 2016, SLU together with other public authorities where were commissioned by the Swedish Government to investigate and report on how their activities contribute to Sweden's ability to achieve the objectives of Agenda 2030. These substrates will be an important part of the Government's continuing work on the Agenda by 2030.

As a next step in the work with the Agenda 2030 the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation invited all authorities on 30 November to verbally report its findings and initiate a dialogue on the challenges and opportunities that have been identified. The purpose of the meeting was to give both the authorities and the Ministry some inspiration for future work and to catch up on issues that the department needs to work on to create the conditions to achieve the objectives of the Agenda by 2030.
