The Ambassador of Iraq to Sweden visited SLU

His Excellency Ahmed Al-Kamaly, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Sweden, visited SLU in Umeå.
On 19 November 2018, His Excellency Ahmed Al-Kamaly, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Sweden, visited SLU in Umeå, and met with representatives from SLU, among them Professor Hjalmar Laudon, the head of Department of Forest Ecology and Management, SLU.
The University of Baghdad, the number one university in Iraq, is well established within agricultural research and the aim of the visit was to explore possible collaboration between SLU and universities in Iraq.
Abdulmajid Mahomoud, Agronomist and Trial technician at the Department of Forest Ecology and Management arranged the meeting. The Ambassador was very pleased with the visit in Umeå and at SLU, says Abdulmajid Mahomoud.
