Exchange program with Rhode Island School of Design

Published: 08 August 2018

In May 2018, SLU Landscape successfully completed its STINT exchange project with Rhode Island School of Design jointly producing a three-point immediate action plan to continue cooperation over the next two years.

The plan includes a 2018-19 knowledge-exchange lecture series between SLU Landscape and RISD on transdisciplinary landscape research and teaching challenges; a Spring 2019 RISD symposium “Coastal urban futures/Beyond geographic borders: Malmö/Providence”; and groundwork for a 2019-20 teaching/learning exchange beginning with a workshop led by RISD studio design professors in the fall “Planning Project” course.
