KSLA awards Per Magnus Ekö

The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry held its 207th Commemorative meeting Monday January 28, 2019.

The gathering was held in Stockholm City Hall – the formal meeting took place in the Blue Hall and the following banquet in the Golden Hall. 640 guests honored the Academy with their presence at the meeting.

President Lisa Sennerby Forsse opened the evening's meeting and bid HRH Crown Princess Victoria, and all the guests welcome. After that she held her speech titled Food, flavour and health.
Newly elected Honorary Fellow Sven Lindgren, 16 Swedish and 5 international fellows received their Letters of Fellowship from the hand of the President (one newly elected fellow could not participate). In all 23 new fellows have been elected into the Academy.

Associate Professor Per Magnus Ekö, Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre, had the honor of receiving the award for Model Contributions within Pedagogy and Education from the hand of HRH Crown Princess Victoria.
