February 2-6, 2020, participants from the SLU Landscape PhD forum (LAPF, AEM and SOL) are away on a writers’ retreat on the small island of Træna off the coast of Norway.

The remote island is developing a set of conceptual retreats to attract visitors and the PhD forum is trying out a researchers’ retreat. During the stay the PhD students will meet with city officials, artists in residence, local entrepreneurs and inhabitants. In addition to having a focused working session the PhD students will give informal presentations of their research.
