In response to the Corona crisis, landscape architecture student at SLU have built a temporary outdoor workplace at Fyrisån (Fyris river) in southern Uppsala. Take the opportunity to try the green workplace, which is open from May 30 to June 11!

For two weeks, during May-June, students, university employees and other Uppsala citizens have the chance to try an outdoor workplace, overlooking Fyrisån and the green fields in southern Uppsala.

The workplace is perfect for anyone who longs for the sun after working from home for weeks during the Corona distancing.

The "office" has room for twelve people, and has different types of workplaces with sitting tables, standing tables and a larger meeting table. The design is inspired by nature, and the material is largely recycled or recovered. Naturally, social distancing is taken into account in the design.

The outdoor workplace is a temporary installation made by master's students in landscape architecture at SLU - with support from Akademiska Hus, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, IR Bygg and Svensk Markservice.

The outdoor office is designed by Adam Elinder, Emma Granell, Stina Holmsved, Alice Johnn and Isabelle Lundgren.

Welcome to try it! The workplace is open from Saturday 30 May to Thursday 11 June. You will find it at Vindbrovägen 6A - between the Fyris river and SLU's tennis courts in Ultuna.
