Farmers’ willingness to adopt silvopastoral systems: investigating cattle producers’ compensation claims and attitudes using a contingent valuation approach.
Harold Opdenbosch, PhD student in the SustAinimal Academy, has got his first scientific article published in the journal Agroforestry Systems! He has written the article together with Helena Hansson at SLU.
The aim of the study was to assess farmers' willingness to introduce silvopastoral systems by reforesting treeless pastures, their compensation claims related to this and how both of these factors are affected by the farmers´ attitudes towards silvopastoral systems.
