The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 has recently been released, revealing the top universities for 55 different subjects across five broad subject areas. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences is ranked as the world's fourth best university in the field of agricultural and forestry science.
The list for the subject Agriculture & Forestry, is topped by Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands, followed by the University of California, Davis, and Cornell University in the USA, and then SLU. SLU has been in third or fourth place since 2017, so the university has thus maintained its position.
SLU is in 23rd place in the subject Veterinary Science, and in 71st place in Environmental Sciences in this world ranking.
