Nina Lind Ranneberg
Presentation
Nina holds a PhD in psychology from Umeå University and has been affiliated with the Department of Economics since 2015. Since 2024, she holds the position of Associate Professor in Business Administration. She supervises students at bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level, and actively contributes to the educational environment in business administration.
Her interdisciplinary research bridges psychology and business administration, with a focus on how dairy farmers make decisions regarding animal health. Drawing on psychological theories, she investigates what drives proactive health management in livestock farming – including how perceptions of disease in dairy cows can motivate preventive action. Nina is involved in several trans- and interdisciplinary research projects and collaborates across institutional boundaries in the field of animal health and decision-making.
Beyond her research, Nina is Programme Director of Future One Health, a platform promoting stronger collaboration across human, animal, and environmental health, and coordinator of MFF Academy.
