The internship is preferably done with an animal welfare officer at a county administrative board. Any costs associated with the internship, such as accommodation and/or travel, are paid for by the student.

The entry requirement of 7.5 credits animal welfare may be fulfilled through completed course BI0439/HV0136 Animal Welfare and Legislation or BI1432/HV0160 Animal welfare - protection and ethics.
