Accepted for exchange studies – before and after your stay
Before you leave
Learning agreement
Before travelling abroad, all exchange students must submit a learning agreement. This is a tripartite agreement between you, your SLU programme director or Erasmus coordinator, and your host university. The learning agreement will help ensure that the credits you earn abroad can be credited towards your degree at SLU. You will receive instructions from the mobility yeam on how and when to complete it.
SLU accepts two versions of the learning agreement; digital or drawn up using the the PDF template. Choose one version; you do not need to use both. Both the digital agreement and the PDF template can be found in Moveon under Forms.
After completing your studies abroad, you must apply to transfer your credits so that they can be credited towards your SLU degree. More information is available on the student web's page on credit transfer. Applications for credit transfer are submitted in Ladok for students.
After your exchange studies
Travel report
Once you have completed your exchange studies, you must submit a travel report. You will find the template in Moveon, under Forms. The purpose of the travel report is to provide information and inspiration to other students who are interested in exchange studies.
Credit transfer
When your studies abroad are completed, you must apply for credit transfer so that the courses you have taken abroad can be credited towards your degree. You will find more information on the student web's page on credit transfer. You apply for credit transfer in Ladok for students.
If you need to interrupt your exchange
Contact the mobility yeam if you need to end your exchange earlier than planned. If this is due to circumstances beyond your control, the mobility yeam can apply for a ’force majeure’ on your behalf. In case of an interruption, make sure to contact both the mobility team and the international office at your host university.
