Self-contained courses

You can build your own degree by combining self-contained courses and subjects. The advantage of studying self-contained courses is that you can structure a study programme that perfectly matches your personal profile. It is important to remember that competition for places on self-contained courses (if you are not on a programme) can be tough and there are lots of people who want study these courses.

Master’s programmes (one-year and two-year)

Our Master’s programmes are designed for those who have a degree from a university college or a university and who want to continue their studies.

PhD Studies

If you have been awarded a degree at second-cycle level (or have at least four years’ full-time studies, with at least one year at second-cycle level) and you are curious to learn more, then studies at third level (PhD)  may be right for you.  

In addition to acquiring specialised skills within a scientific field, you will also practise critical and analytical thinking.

When resources are available for a PhD student, a study place will be advertised. Education at third level is equivalent to four years’ full-time studies (240 credits) and results in the awarding of a doctorate. After two years (120 credits) a licentiate degree can be awarded.
