Exchange studies and career guidance

Exchange studies give you the opportunity to spend one or two semesters at a partner university abroad. At SLU, you can also access career guidance to help you transition from your studies into the world of work.

Exchange studies involve spending one or two semesters at one of SLU’s international partner universities, offering you the chance to study similar courses in a completely different environment. SLU has exchange agreements with a wide range of universities around the world.

Student healthcare services and when something goes wrong

At SLU, we are committed to our students' wellbeing. That is why you have access to student health services, as well as studenthälsa.se. Did you know that you are insured while you study? What should you do if you fall ill? Below, you can also find information about support in the event of an emergency or incident.

Our student health services are here to support you with challenges related to university life. This includes help with stress, sleep difficulties, low self-esteem, performance anxiety, or a fear of public speaking. We can also offer guidance on alcohol-related concerns and other issues that may affect your time at SLU.

All students are covered by personal injury insurance during university hours via Kammarkollegiet. This applies to everyone, whether you are studying on campus or remotely.

Eduprint is the SLU-wide printing and photocopying system.

As an SLU student, you have access to a wide range of digital tools and software to support your studies and remote learning.

Many of SLU’s online resources require a licence and are only accessible via the university network. To access services such as the library’s databases and e-journals when off-campus, you will need to connect to the SLU VPN (Virtual Private Network).

SLU offers a variety of study spaces and facilities, including lecture theatres, computer rooms and group study rooms. You can book these using Timeedit.
