SLU Grogrund annual workshop
SLU Grogrund's Annual Workshop 2025 will take place in Norrköping, from lunch to lunch, 19-20 November. The workshop is open to the SLU Grogrund network.
Start date: 19 September 2025 12:00
End date: 20 November 2025 13:00
Organiser: SLU Grogrund
Venue: Scandic Norrköping Nord, Järngatan 17, Norrköping
Location: Other location
At this year’s workshop we will, among other things, explore the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how our projects within SLU Grogrund relate to them. Through discussion and reflection, the workshop aims to highlight ways to align plant breeding with sustainability challenges.
Through joint efforts, we can find ways to translate the theoretical SDGs into hands-on ways of thinking about them within SLU Grogrund’s collaboration between academia, industry, and society.
How can we interpret the SDGs? When do they become relevant for our projects? Why is it important to work with this?
On day two, the workshop continues and there will also be a poster session, feel free to bring a maximum of one poster per project.
SLU Grogrund pays for conference fees, hotel rooms and meals, but as a general rule not for travel to and from the workshop. There is a guaranteed place for at least three people from each SLU Grogrund project and we would like to see all projects represented.
We strive for a mix of participants between academia, industry and society.
The workshop will be held in English.
Last day to register: 24 October 2025.
