Research agenda on organic agriculture for consultation

Published: 07 November 2012

At the end of week 46, "Swedish research agenda for organic agriculture" will be sent out of an open consultation. EPOK has developed this research agenda in an inclusive process with many stakeholders involved.

The research agenda is a continuation of the work on coordination of research in organic farming previously managed by the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture (CUL). Following the decommissioning of CUL in 2010, EPOK has taken over the responsibility for research coordination within the organic area.

Four-year framework program for research on organic production and consumption has been developed by CUL since 2000. The new research agenda picks up highlights from relevant knowledge areas in previous programs where research efforts still are needed, but it also prioritizes new areas.
