I am a researcher and work with small ruminants and dairy cows. The projects mainly deal with feeding, animal husbandry, animal products and buildings. In addition to research, I do some teaching and administrative work.
Presentation
I work as experiment group leader at the Department of Agricultural Research for Northern Sweden. In addition to research and teaching I also work as secretary in a couple of VH-faculty committees and as editor for various factsheets and popular science publications.
Teaching
I am responsible for the sheep part of the ruminant course at the animal science programme. I also do some more teaching, mainly on small ruminants, and supervise student thesis works.
Research
My main research area is small ruminants, including feeding, buildings, grazing etc. Other areas of research that I am now involved in concerns the chain farm/forage-milk-cheese. I also participate in an EU project about organic farming with mixed livestock.
Background
I am Master of Science in animal science and have worked at the department since 1983.
