New professor at SLU Aqua

Thursday 30 March SLU´s new professors will give their inauguration lectures. One of them is Michele Casini, professor in marine ecology at the Department of Aquatic Resources.

Michele Casini's research concerns the assessment and management of marine fish stocks, as well as population and ecosystem dynamics. He investigates how exploited fish populations, particularly in the Baltic Sea, vary in time and space in relation to fishing pressure, predator-prey interactions, eutrophication and climate.
