Page reviewed:  26/03/2025

The report Fisk- och skaldjursbestånd i hav och sötvatten was published until 2021 and describes the status and trends of the most fished species in the sea and in Sweden’s four largest lakes: Vänern, Vättern, Mälaren, and Hjälmaren.

Starting from 2022, the results are presented in the digital service Fiskbarometern. The assessment is developed by the Department of Aquatic Resources at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU Aqua), on behalf of the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management.
