Mistra Food Futures

The Mistra Food Futures research program is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and innovation within the food system. Through collaboration between academia, industry, and public authorities, the programme addresses the complex challenges facing the food system to develop solutions for a more resilient and sustainable future.

SustainGov

SLU is a partner in SustainGov, a large innovation program within Impact Innovation, Sweden's innovation initiative for the 2030s, an initiative of the Swedish Energy Agency, Formas (Swedish research council for sustainable development) and Vinnova (Sweden's innovation agency).

SustAinimal is a research center funded by the Swedish Research Council Formas with a mission to collaborate to increase knowledge about the role of food-producing animals in a resilient, sustainable, and profitable food system in Sweden.

PAN Sweden

PAN Sweden is a Formas-funded research programme that focuses on plant-based proteins for health and well-being. The programme is led by Örebro University, with SLU and several other universities as academic partners.
