A warm welcome to this autumn's workshop within the Collaboration Initiative “Climate Neutral Cities 2030 – Open Academy”.
The theme is “Synergies and goal conflicts in climate transition and climate adaptation” and we meet – researchers, cities and other actors – to discuss how we can best achieve set climate goals. Together we will form recommendations for future climate transition work in Malmö and Helsingborg, while also identifying relevant research questions for joint projects.
Agenda
The workshop begins with the cities presenting their challenges and several researchers making contributions to the topic based on their research areas. You will, among others, listen to:
- Anders Larsson (SLU)
- Misse Wester (LU)
- Ishi Buffam (SLU)
- Johanna Alkan Olsson (LU)
- Åsa Knaggård (LU)
- Fredrik NG Andersson (LU)
- Kes McCormick (SLU)
We will then discuss in groups how cities and academia can work further to support increased integration between climate adaptation and climate transition.
There is a limited number of places.
