Seminar: Propagule characteristics and competitive outcome: from willows to weeds

In this seminar, Professor Theo Verwijst will present some of the work he has been doing, leading the Short Rotation Foresty unit. Please join us for this seminar before his retirement.

During this seminar, the major biological challenges encountered in the development and implementation of willow short rotation coppice systems will be highlighted. A comparison is made between the population dynamics of Willow-SRC and the dynamics of perennial clonal weeds.
