The IMS Research Seminar welcomes David Minguillo Brehaut who will talk about academic publication strategies: how to navigate the galaxy of academic journals, such as assessing the quality and fit of different journals and the relevance of different measurements and rankings, and the ethics of publication, such as predatory journals and the Vancouver Recommendations for Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work.

David holds a PhD in Research Evaluation and works with bibliometric analysis at the SLU Library.
