Organiser: SLU Urban Futures
Co-organiser: Swedens biosphere researves
Location: Online
Last day of registration: 1 December 2025

To concretise and target the workshop, we selected a current funding call: Impact Innovation: Policylabb inom Water Wise Societies 2025 för Hållbart vatten för alla, to guide workshop activities. Ideally, the workshop will kick-start proposal writing processes with SLU involvement and grounded in one or several of Sweden’s biospheres waterscapes.
Swedens biosphere researves are arenas for developing, testing and implementing sustainable development under Agenda 2030 locally and in practice. Sweden’s 8 biospheres encompass diverse landscapes and are ‘testbeds’ for sustainability governance and management processes across sectors and in close collaboration with local communities. Having successfully been involved in several international research projects, Sweden’s biospheres have proven to be excellent collaboratorors in impactful research projects across disciplines.
SLU Urban Futures has the opportunity to further strengthen the collaboration between the biosphere network and SLU.
More information about the workshop will be shared after the registration closes.
