- 8.00-8.30 – Moo-ral Machines: Teaching AI Ethics to Care About Animal Health (and Humans Too with Oleksiy Guzhva, Assistant Professor/Associate Senior Lecturer, Department of Biosystems and Technology, SLU.
- 8.30-9.00 – Networking breakfast
The seminar will be held on-site in Alnarp.
Oleksiy's research focuses on Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) as a tool for responsible innovation. Through continuous animal monitoring, data‑driven decision‑making and ethically aligned technology, he strives to enhance animal welfare and resource efficiency. Oleksiy develops computer vision and deep learning algorithms for smart farming across animal and plant systems, and work on big data, IoT, and data infrastructure to provide farmers with actionable insights.
