Program
- 8.00-8.30 – Pharmaceutical Pollution Across Ecosystems: A Bat Perspective with Natalia Sandoval Herrera, Researcher, Department of Wildlife, Fish, and Environmental Studies, SLU.
- 8.30-9.00 – Networking breakfast
The seminar will be held on-site in Umeå.
Adopting a One Health approach, Natalia examines how environmental pollutants may influence antimicrobial resistance and the risk of zoonotic diseases in wildlife. Currently, she is leading a research project at the intersection of pollution and disease ecology in bats. This project integrates cutting-edge molecular tools to better understand how environmental stressors shape wildlife health and ecosystem resilience.
