About the speakers
Rebecka Ramstedt is program and policy officer at the Embassy of Sweden in Rome for the Permanent Representation of Sweden to FAO, WFP (World Food Program) and IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development).
Lena Partzsch is professor of comparative politics with a focus on environmental and climate politics at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research focuses on sustainability transitions in the Global North and South, with widely published work and several awards, including the GAIA Best Paper Award (2016).
Francisco X Aguilar is professor of forest economics and University Fellow with Resources for the Future (Washington DC). Aguilar’s research focuses on the study of social-natural resources interactions particularly in regards to the conservation and management of forest resources.
Alin Kadfak is associate professor with reseearch interests as resource governance, labour rights/precarity, migration, ethical food systems, policy discourses, supply chains and development in the fisheries sector. Kadfak is currently working on projects on unacceptable work and resource governance in Southeast Asia.
