Aim and fields of interest

The aim of the "Researcher Residency Event" is to strengthen the interdisciplinary research at SLU and to identify new links and research collaborations between our fields.

This time, our focus will be on interdisciplinary research into different aspects of preparedness, such as robustness and resilience, in relation to key societal challenges. Topics for discussion will include food security and safety in relation to crops and livestock, animal welfare (including AMR) and the impact of climate change on our cities.

During the Researcher Residency, we will discuss various aspects of preparedness, how SLU researchers can use it in interdisciplinary research and how SLU Future Platforms can support this. There will also be an opportunity to brainstorm research ideas and potential projects related to this topic.

You are welcome to inspirational talks and open scientific discussions. Refreshments and accommodation in a beautiful setting will be provided.
