Are you the kind of person who seeks out a cemetery when you want to think in peace? We’ll talk about the encounters that can happen in the company of the dead, about the grief that can be healed there, and about what a cemetery space needs to be like to make room for feelings.
Guest speaker is Patrik Olsson, PhD, human geographer and lecturer at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management with a focus on the historical landscape and cultural heritage
- The library will be serving fika (coffee/tea and biscuits).
- During the event, inspirational talks (in English) are alternated with discussions and reflection (in Swedish and English).
- Studium Generale is open to students and staff at SLU.
- No advance registration is required.
