Fire is an important part of the history of pine forests. Many fungi, plants and insects depend on the habitats created after a forest fire. The exhibition explains prescribed burning and the importance of fire for forest ecology in an accessible and interactive way.
Come and join us for the opening and Swedish premiere of the County Administrative Board’s exhibition about prescribed burning for nature conservation. The event will feature opening speeches and lectures from 12:00, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition at 14:30.
