Activation of the wired network in Alnarp (Nät 2.0)

We have now activated WiFi across Alnarp campus and are moving on to the activation of the wired network.

Location: Alnarp

Horticum, Trädgårdsmästarvillan and Kyllagret will remain fully on Nät 1.0 – you will receive separate information about what applies to you.

How will the activation be carried out?

The activation will start in week 45 and will be carried out building by building. We will send targeted information by email when it is time for your building. Business-specific equipment will only be activated in coordination with the affected operations.

Which devices will be affected?

Devices connected via a network cable are included in this phase of the activation, for example:

  • Computers at fixed workstations and in computer rooms
  •  Printers
  •  Equipment in conference rooms and teaching facilities
  •  Alarm systems, access control systems and other business-specific equipment

How will I be affected?

Brief interruptions or instability may occur for wired devices. WiFi will continue to work as usual.
