To celebrate 50 years of Wildlife Research and 55 years of Wildlife Monitoring in Umeå, we welcome you to a symposium on the 9th-10th of December 2026.

Objectives: Jointly explore the past, present and future directions in Wildlife Research and Monitoring 

Goal: Knowledge sharing, networking, and new ideas on Wildlife Research and Monitoring 

Practicalities: We are planning for 1.5 days with day1 being in English and day2 in Swedish (Day 1 will be broadcast online too).  
We will send out more information such as program details, registration link, participation fee, and accommodation suggestions after summer.
