Each Breakfast Club starts with a short inspirational talk, and then it's up to you to mingle and take the opportunity to enjoy interesting transdisciplinary discussions and initiate new collaborations. Whether you see yourself as a One Health researcher or not, we promise you'll find something relevant. Almost all of SLU's research interests are linked to One Health!
Program
- 8.00-8.30 – Title TBA with Fernando Puente Sanchez, Researcher, Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment, SLU.
- 8.30-9.00 – Networking breakfast
The seminar will be held on-site in Uppsala.
Fernando is a microbial ecologist and bioinformatician interested in the drivers of microbial ecology and evolution across space, time and environmental gradients. Fernando studies microbial ecosystems using metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, and 16S rRNA gene profiling. He strives to find common patterns in the way that microorganisms interact between themselves and with the environment.
