Regional hubs in AgriFoSe2030

The AgriFoSe2030 programme targets the UN Sustainable Development Goal 2 - "End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture" in low-income countries. The programme is divided into three regional hubs focusing on capacity building in local contexts.

Hub Kenya

The change project connected to the hub in Kenya aim to build on the successes of three AgriFoSe2030 sub-projects—focusing on food system governance, extension services, and rangeland management—by reinforcing the essential link between research, policy, and practice.

Hub Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe Hub led by Chinhoyi University of Technology, in collaboration with University of Namibia, University of Zambia, Manicaland State University and partners in Tanzania, seeks to build capacity among faculty and students in science translation and gender sensitive extension training.

Hub Uganda

This sub-regional hub in East Africa is jointly managed by Kyambogo University and Gulu University in Uganda. Its primary focus is on building capacity for better research impact towards a sustainable agricultural transformation.

Southeast Asia network

AgriFoSe2030 builds on existing networks in Southeast Asia by integrating with regional research and practice networks while simultaneously leveraging activities in collaborating researchers’ institutions to enhance dissemination of its methodology across the region.
