Policy Living Lab
Development of rules and frameworks within the food system.
A policy living lab is a structured, long-term approach that brings together actors in the food chain. These include academics, private and public actors, and decision-makers. We bring these actors together to identify problems and opportunities, review current regulations and policy instruments, and, where necessary, develop new policies based on research and experience-based knowledge. A Policy Living Lab is a working method that goes beyond organizing individual panel discussions, webinars, or conferences, and instead takes the policy issue further.
In our Policy Living Lab, we work together to transform research-based knowledge and practical experience into the formation and development of new policy within the food system in order to create a better basis for decision-makers. Depending on the nature of the issue, we use different formats to put the issue in context and identify actors to invite.
