Welcome to the Molecular Ecology Group. We study individual and population processes in wild vertebrates using genetics. For this purpose our own laboratory is specifically equipped for genotyping of non-invasive samples such as environmental DNA (eDNA).
Current research is focused on using sequence and SNP genotyping data to explore contemporary processes, such as dispersal, mating patterns, reproductive success, intra- and interspecific competition and population dynamics.
