Molecular Ecology

Welcome to the Molecular Ecology Group. We study individual and population processes in wild vertebrates using genetics. For this purpose our own laboratory is specifically equipped for genotyping of non-invasive samples such as environmental DNA (eDNA).

Current research is focused on using sequence and SNP genotyping data to explore contemporary processes, such as dispersal, mating patterns, reproductive success, intra- and interspecific competition and population dynamics.
