I am an ecologist who primarily uses molecular techniques, such as eDNA metabarcoding and SNP genotyping, as well as stable isotopes, to study animals from the population to the individual level. My main model systems are the Fennoscandian large-carnivore guild and multispecies ungulate communities, but I also work on the genetic monitoring and conservation of endangered sun parakeets in Guyana, South America. In my current work, I am primarily interested in how landscape resistance shapes genetic connectivity and population structure, but I am also interested in trophic ecology.
