Uppsala, Sweden's fourth-largest city, serves as the hub of SLU's educational activities. Situated just outside the city center, SLU's Uppsala campus offers a spacious, leafy, and picturesque environment. It is a fitting setting for Sweden's only agricultural university and possibly the most research-intensive university. With two universities in Uppsala, students can immerse themselves in a lively, dynamic, and stimulating atmosphere.

Find your way to Campus Uppsala

SLU's Uppsala campus is located in Ultuna, in the southern part of Uppsala. This campus houses the Vice-Chancellor´s office, the university management, two of the four faculties, a significant portion of the university administration, and many students.

Accommodation in Uppsala

The SLU campus in Uppsala is situated approximately five kilometers south of downtown Uppsala. It takes around 20 minutes to bike from downtown Uppsala to the Ultuna area. Many students choose to live downtown or at the campus. As a fee-paying student you are guaranteed housing if you have been admitted in the first admission round. This will be offered to you by SLU. If you are a fee-paying student who is granted a scholarship you are still guaranteed housing. Please note that the rent is not included in the tuition fee.
