"A healthy planet for all - our responsibility, our opportunity." In the light of the Stockholm+50 conference, how can SLU contribute? Welcome to the third internal Climate Conversation at SLU which takes Stockholm+50 as a starting point for the discussions.

”It’s time for bold choices. It’s time for urgent action. It’s time for a better future on a healthy planet.” This is the message from the UN meeting Stockholm+50 that Sweden hosted in June 2022 together with Kenya. Stockholm+50 drew attention to the 50th anniversary of the UN's first environmental conference, the Stockholm Conference in 1972, and aimed to increase the pace of the transition to sustainable and green societies.

SLU+50 is an SLU-internal webinar within SLU's series "Climate Conversations". On this occasion, the focus will be on the climate-related issues at Stockholm+50. How can SLU contribute to speeding up the implementation of the commitments made within the framework of, for example, the Paris Agreement and Agenda 2030?

The Climate Conversations are arranged by SLU's four Future Platforms and SLU Global.
