New talkshow: Coffee Chats with researchers in environmental communication

News published:  05/02/2026

Through Coffee Chats, we share stories behind the research within the division of environmental communication at SLU.

In the first episode, you will meet Teresa Sarasa Nagore, a PhD student researching the role of crop biotechnology in South African smallholder farming.

Over a Coffee Chat, you get a glimpse into her work where she explores how crop biotechnologies reshape labour practices, farming identities and gender relations. Her research draws on feminist, multispecies political ecology, and decolonial theory and practice.

Host: Karen Schellhase, Research and Course Assistant at the division of Environmental Communication.
