Join the SciFest team
Earn some extra money and have fun at the SciFest science festival, 8–10 October. We are looking for student assistants from SLU or Uppsala University. Apply by 7 September.
SciFest is an interactive science festival centred around curiosity, discovery and learning. The festival is aimed at school pupils, teachers and the general public, and seeks to spark interest in our degree programmes and research areas. We are now looking for around 30–40 enthusiastic students who would like to help create an inspiring festival experience.
Duties
As a student assistant at SciFest, you will represent us and play an important role in creating a positive experience for our visitors. You will welcome, guide and assist visitors while helping to create a friendly and inspiring atmosphere.
The duties are varied and may include, for example, assisting at the stage, staffing the cloakroom, helping to ensure safety, providing support behind the scenes and taking part in evaluations.
Other desirable qualifications
Previous experience of similar events or activities is an advantage. The ability to speak Swedish is also an advantage.
