In Alnarp on 25 November, the SLU and the Sparbanken Skåne Centre for Sustainable Primary Production are holding the brand new conference Primärt. This year’s conference theme is innovation.
The conference spans crop production, horticulture and livestock production, with topics including climate adaptation in horticulture, the next generation of farmers, digitalisation for sustainability, and scalability in times of crisis. It is aimed at farmers, researchers, advisers, public officials and other industry stakeholders.
Ahead of the conference, a few of the participants were asked what sustainable primary production means to them and which questions they are bringing with them to Alnarp. The film features:
