Presentation
I am an industrial PhD student in the Department of Ecology at SLU in Ultuna. My doctoral thesis project examines forest microclimate and species responses to different forest management methods.
Research
In my PhD project, I am investigating the importance of forest microclimate (e.g., temperature, humidity, and light) on the response of species considered sensitive to changes in habitat, like late-successional species Goodyera repens (in Swedish “knärot”), to retention forestry and non-clearcut forest management (e.g., shelterwood forestry).
