I have been a Professor of Wood Science and Technology at SLU since late 2020. My research integrates forestry and wood technology, with a strong focus on developing sustainable materials and adhesives for wood composites.
Presentation
I lead the Research Group of Wood Science and Technology, focusing on the development of greener products for furniture, construction, and packaging. I have extensive experience with wood microtechniques and microscopic analysis at multiple scales. I work across diverse areas of wood products, aiming to advance both fundamental understanding and practical applications in the field
Research
My research interests encompass forest utilization, wood and fibres anatomy and properties, wood protection and modification, recycling and use of secondary materials, and sustainable wood products.
