Presentation
I work on bio-based adhesive systems for engineered wood, translating renewable feedstocks into robust, scalable bonding chemistries. I hold a PhD in Chemical & Biological Engineering (University of Porto, 2025). My research sits at the interface of polymer chemistry and chemical engineering, with a focus on functional monomer design, crosslinked polymer networks/films, and data-driven formulation optimisation using DoE/RSM.
