Presentation

I am a biologist and theoretical ecologist by training, and currently the director of SLU's Bioinformatics Infrastructure (SLUBI). My bioinformatics expertise is in analysing RNAseq, methylation data, microarrays, 10x single cell RNAseq data, and workflow automation.

At SLUBI, I coordinate hands-on data support and training in bioinformatics and help connect researchers across SLU’s campuses to relevant internal and external resources. I am interested in reproducible research and in best practices and tools that support it, such as Nextflow and workflow-based analysis approaches.

I enjoy developing teaching materials that make bioinformatics accessible to learners of all levels, and connecting people across disciplines to advance data-driven research in the life sciences at SLU.
